| Sat 31st January | A full peal attempt on the bells at Holy Cross Church Crediton by a team of bellringers from York Minster. Starts 10am. | ||

| Thur 9th April | A Youth Pilgrimage Walk, organised by the Dioceses of Exeter, arrives in Crediton from Sherborne. Service of Communion with foot-washing. | ||

| Tues 5th May | Crediton Townswomens Guild. Arts & Crafts Exhibition. Masonic Hall, Union Road, Crediton 2 – 4pm. | ||
| Thurs 7th or 14th May | Concert. Details to be confirmed. | ||
| Thurs 21st May | Concert by a Choir from Dokkum. Holy Cross Church Crediton 7.30pm. | ||
| Sat 23rd May | Street entertainment during the day. Children’s event (pm). Concert or Open Air Dance in the Town Square. | ||
| Sun 24th May | Saxon/Viking re-enactment and family fun day. Lords Meadow Recreation Ground. Concert in the evening. | ||

Art & Photography Exhibitions Various Arts Events at the Town Square and Shobrooke Park This calendar of events will be updated in the future. If you, or a club, organisation or society you are involved with, would like to organise or host an event under the umbrella of the Crediton Community 2009 Festival we would be delighted to hear from you as soon as possible. This could be a special event for the 2009 Festival but equally could be something you will to be organising or planning for next year anyway. We hope to have the programme of events finalised by the end of November 2008. If you would like to help sponsor the 2009 Community Festival in anyway we would still be delighted to hear from you. We expect most of the major events to take place during May and June but would welcome others outside these dates to help extend the celebrations through the year.
